Hayden Panettiere Twitter Twitter

Hayden Panettiere, is that you?

Looks like Beyoncé isn't the only star changing up her hair these days—now the Nashville actress is jumping on board with a brand new 'do, too!

The blond beauty snapped a selfie on her iPhone this afternoon showing just a fraction of her face, adding emphasis to her sparkling eyes and hot new bangs.

Along with the intriguing photo, where we can only see the top of her 'do thanks to a circular mirror hung a bit too high for her frame, the petite star tweeted, "My friend said to go look at myself in the mirror...guess ill hafta trust her opinion."

Last time we checked Alicia Keys was rocking an angular bob, so it was a complete surprise when the singer popped up on Good Morning America this a.m. with a pixie cut and blunt bangs!

The new 'do is dramatically different from her previous chin-length style and from some angles it even seemed to have a bowl cut effect. She paired her new hairstyle with a black halter-top (with sexy see-through midriff-section) and high-waist pink pants and performed several of her hits including a duet with Maxwell

Of course, we already know short hair is the biggest beauty trend of 2013. With stars such as Beyoncé, Coco Rocha and Rihanna most recently chopping off their locks. But Alicia is the first celeb to combine the trend with fringe.

That being said, she comes in second when it comes to debuting bangs this week. Hayden Panettiere was first, showing off a similar fringe style on Wednesday. Could this mean blunt bangs be in for fall?

Zoe Kravitz Debuts Purple Hair

Taking a cue from Katy Perry, this week Zoe Kravitz was spotted rocking a new hair hue in New York City. The Divergent actress has added a purple tint on the ends of her strands.

It appears that the 24-year-old actress also changed the top of her hair from brunette to a golden blond, perhaps so her lavender locks would appear more vibrant.

She paired her new ‘do with high waisted denim shorts, a simple tank, moccasins and round retro shades.

Naturally, the X-Men: First Class star seemed to effortlessly pull of the edgy color change. Perhaps it's because she's got rock star style in her blood.

What do you think of Zoe's purple hair?

Evangeline Lilly has added author to her résumé.

"Just finished my first official signing! Thank you all so much for your support! The line was CRAZY!" Lilly tweeted.

Dressed in a bright blue strapless jumpsuit, the actress—who worked with illustrator Johnny Fraser-Allen of Weta Workshop—signed copies of her book at the company's booth.

Weta Workshop is the New Zealand-based, award-winning conceptual design and physical manufacturing company famous for a number of well-known pieces of work, including the 2005 remake of King Kong to the Lord Of The Rings trilogy. And, of course, The Hobbit.

'When Johnny and I sat down to create this book together we wanted to make a book that we would like to have read as children and that we would still enjoy as adults today, and that is exactly what we did," Lilly reportedly said.

The Hollywood celeb first announced her new business venture in 2010 during an appearance on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.

"I write everything across the board, kids' stories and novels and scripts, and all sorts of things," she told him, and then began to recite the beginning of The Squickerwonkers.

Lilly ended with the mysterious "but there's a secret that lies behind the Squickerwonkers' name, a horrible secret that give Squickerwonkers shame," and told the show host that he'd have to read the book to discover the secret.

What a tease!
