Stacy Keibler never wanted to marry George Clooney

Stacy Keibler claims she never discussed marriage with George Clooney.

The former WWE wrestler, 33, insists that her recent split from the actor, 52, after two years together had nothing to do with his desire to remain an eternal bachelor.

The reality TV host told 'Good Morning America' on Wednesday (17.07.13): ''Actually, everyone that knows me thinks that's the funniest story.''

The blonde beauty says she has no desire to settle down anytime soon as she is so busy.

She explained: ''That's the last thing on my mind. I don't really think about that right now. We didn't discuss that.''

She added that the couple's separation was amicable and they are ''absolutely'' still friends.

Stacy previously said there was nothing ''dramatic'' about her split from 'The Descendants' star.

It was recently reported that the couple grew apart while George was filming a new movie in Europe.

A source said: ''He's been in Europe, and she's in Los Angeles, and they haven't seen each other in a long time. Some girls would be OK with that and just be happy dating George, but not her.''

Stacy Keibler could teach a lesson or two about cheery outlooks.

The TV star was all smiles and showing no signs of heartache at the Supermarket Superstar Food Festival yesterday in L.A., where she told E! News that she and ex-boyfriend George Clooney remain on good terms.

"I'm great [post-split], yeah," the upbeat TV star said. "George and I have always been friends and we always will be friends."

Besides, the self-described foodie and travel enthusiast can barely steal a few moments away for herself these days, let alone waste time worrying about a breakup!

"I've never been busier in my entire life," she said, "so I'm hoping that somewhere in there I can have a few days to get away, but, you know, this is exciting as well."

And she's not just talking about eating crickets.

"I love to eat, I love to cook, I love to travel and I love to experience different cultures and their food. And so this show is right up my alley," Keibler said of her new gig hosting Supermarket Superstar, premiering July 22 on Lifetime.

"I don't know if you've tried, but I had the crickets," she added, gesturing to the set-up behind her, "and the bar that [the chef] makes is amazing. You wouldn't even know that it's crickets, but I actually tried dried crickets themselves because I wanted to know what they taste like."

Sounds like a girl who's ready to feast on everything that life has to offer!
