Khloé Kardashian Odom wants Lamar Odom to get better.

In the wake of the 33-year-old athlete's DUI arrest on Friday, Aug. 30, a source tells E! News exclusively "Khloé and the family are urging Lamar to seek treatment." (A rep for the Kardashians could not be reached for comment.)

The 29-year-old E! star has been focused on "getting Lamar better," a source says, but is hoping Friday's arrest "will be his wake-up call."

"Khloé has been trying so, so hard to keep him from hitting a bottom like this," adds the source. "But if this is what needed to happen, then this is what needed to happen."

NEWS: Lamar Odom arrested for DUI

Everyone in the Kardashian/Jenner clan is pulling for Lamar, but a source says Khloé only recently told the family about her husband's substance abuse struggles. And despite persistent but untrue rumors of a Khloé and Lamar split, a source says "everyone in the family feels divorce should be the last option."

Kim Kardashian was admittedly "shocked" to learn of her brother-in-law's drug problem, says a source, but she "would like to see [Lamar and Khloé] work it out...She knows how much they love each other."

The Following Scoop: 90210 Vet Jessica Stroup Joins Cast

Jessica Stroup C Flanigan/Getty Images

Remember when we said in Spoiler Chat this morning that we will meet Ryan Hardy's (Kevin Bacon) niece in season two? Well, now we have a face to the character!

90210 alum Jessica Stroup has been cast as new series regular Max, E! News has confirmed. Max is an NYPD cop working in the Intel Division and will become a very valuable ally to her uncle Ryan. Don't you wish you were related to Kevin Bacon, even in fictional form? Us, too.

We also hinted at the fact that something might be brewing between her and Agent Mike Weston (Shawn Ashmore), because their first interaction is full of sparks, even if they aren't of the romantic persuasion. You know what they say: There is at thin line between hate and doing it. Or something like that.

Another new face joining the cast in season two is Beautiful Creatures' Tiffany Boone as Mandy Lang, an impressionable young girl who gets wrapped up in Joe Carroll's (James Purefoy) cult, whether she likes it or not.

EW.com first reported the news of Stroup's and Boone's casting.

As we first revealed, Homeland alum Valerie Cruz has also signed on for the second season of The Following as NYPD detective Gina Mendez, who will work closely with Agent Weston. Other recent castings include Connie Nielsen (Gladiator) as a love interest for Ryan and Dexter actor Sam Underwood as a new bad guy the FBI will undoubtedly be chasing eventually.

The Following is set to return in January 2014.

The Following at Comic-Con 2013: James Purefoy Makes Surprise Appearance, Returning For Season 2

Talk about a killer return!

Though he wasn't scheduled to attend 2013 Comic-Con, James Purefoy made a surprise appearance at The Following's panel on Friday, joining executive producers Kevin Williamson and Marcos Siega and actors Kevin Bacon, Shawn Ashmore and Valorie Curry.

And though his iconic serial killer character Joe Carroll was supposedly killed off in the finale (being inside a building that blows up tends to do that), it was announced that Purefoy will be returning as a series regular for the Fox hit's highly anticipated second season, debuting January 2014. We guess Joe had a few more tricks up his sleeve after all!

Purefoy popped up in character to make the announcement via a "phone call" with Bacon's Ryan. "On the contrary, Ryan, I'm very much alive and kicking," he said.  "My apologies for not calling sooner…You didn't really think you could do a Comic-Con panel without me?"

Williamson played coy when asked for details on Joe's return, simply saying, "Yeah, I guess he might be alive. Of course Joe Carroll will figure into next season."

Aside from Joe's reappearance, Williamson teased that fans can expect less FBI-centric A-storylines in season two, which will pick up a year after the events of the finale. As for Claire (Natalie Zea)? Well, Zea will be back in season two, but a preview featuring new footage (spoiler alert!) showed Ryan's love, and Joe's ex-wife, dead. Yikes!

Keep checking back with us for more scoop on The Following's second season.
